Successful School Action Book Fair, Nov. 10-11

Dear McClure Families, This email for the Successful Schools in Action Book Fair was sent last week, but we heard back from some families that the coupon did not come up on their computer from the email. So we're resending to see if this goes through better for those who couldn't read the last one. Thank you for your patience. Kathy Adolphsen (McClure Volunteer Coordinator) You are invited to attend a bookfair to benefit Successful Schools in Action (SSIA). As most of you know, Successful Schools is an non-profit coalition of the seven public schools on Queen Anne and Magnolia. As a small non-profit, they keep their overhead low so that most of their funding goes to programs that directly benefit students, staff and families. Successful Schools in Action is partnering with Barnes and Noble for a bookfair that will be held on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10th and 11th. The event will run all day at both Barnes and Noble locations - downtown at 7th and Pine (in Pacific Place Mall) and in the U. Village. SSIA will receive a percent from all net sales made USING THE ATTACHED VOUCHER (see below). Simply print the voucher and bring it with you. In addition to books, music, games and art supplies, you will have an opportunity to purchase a book to donate to an individual school library. SSIA will also have displays of some of their amazing student artwork. (If the voucher does not display on this email, you may pick up copies from school.) This is a great opportunity to support seven public schools at a single event. We are excited about the work SSIA is doing - World Language and Culture classes, Digital Storytelling, Debate Club, Community Volunteer Tutors, Teacher Collaborations, Environmental Programs - but they can't do it without your support! So please, print the voucher, forward it to friends and colleagues, and come to Barnes and Noble, Friday or Saturday, Nov. 10th or 11th. Thanks so much for your support!
