SECOND SATURDAY AT THE MOVIES - Dec. 9th
Full Description:
SECOND SATURDAY AT THE MOVIES
The Queen Anne Movie Guild is providing a free showing of Blue Vinyl on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 7:00 pm at Queen Anne Manor, 100 Crockett Street, with refreshments and a post-film discussion. Blue Vinyl is a Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary.
Mom had always wanted a blue clapboard house. She got more than she bargained for. With humor, tenacity, and a piece of vinyl siding in hand, Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Judith Helfand and co-director Daniel Gold travel from America’s vinyl making capital to Venice, Italy and beyond in search of the truth about the environmental impact of vinyl, the world’s second largest selling plastic.
Additional information about the movie and the sponsors of this free community showing is available at www.queenannemovieguild.org.
Thanks again for your continued support. And don't forget—the Queen Anne Help Line Christmas tree lot opens tomorrow!
